"John Flint: born 1831 in London. Shipyard blacksmith by trade. Married girl from County Mayo, Ireland. Eight children, most of them born in Manchester, England. Had unusually good health and died in 1912, still in possession of his own teeth.
"Henry Flint: Son of John Flint, born in 1860 in Manchester, England. Fifth in Familhy of eight children. Sister had triplets all of whom are still living at the present time (1946) and are sixty years of age. Henry came to work in Blackburn where he married Elizabeth Ashton, daughter of a Lances. farmer. Remained in Blackburn until his death in 1934. Six children born to this union: Ernest, Herbert, Harry, Jack, George and Elizabeth.
"Herbert Flint: Son of Henry and Elizabeth Ashton Flint, born in Blackburn, England in 1889. Came to America in 1909 at the age of twenty-one. Traveled over country, working in nearly every state in the Union. Molder by trade. Came to Orrville about 1914. Was united in marriage to Florence B. Devery in October 1916. Six children born to them: Jack, Elizabeth, Ruth, Florence, Marion, and Herbert Jr."
